CATS ~ *

“How many kittens have your cat delivered?” I asked Aunt Amy, excited. I had always longed to play with Aunt Amy’s kittens.
“Five, my dear,” Aunt Amy said to me. Aunt Amy was my favourite aunt. She always brings me presents whenever she comes back from her business trips. She invited me to her house today to take a look at the kittens.
Under the mother cat’s watchful gaze, the puppies frolicked playfully. No one knows what suddenly triggered the mother cat’s sudden, vicious attack. Maybe, as I lifted the puppies high in the air, it thought that I meant to harm them. Its unblinking eyes bore steadily into my eyes. I will never forget that hair-raising sound. Just as I was about to dodged its attack, its paw slashed through the air and landed heavily into my forehead.
When I woke up, I found myself lying in the hospital. When I tried to get up, there was a stinging pain in my head. “Ouch,” I murmured.
“Be careful, you just had five stitches on your forehead. I’m sorry about what happened, Gayle,” Aunt Amy said.
“It’s nothing,” I replied.
From then on, whenever I saw cats, even in books or pictures, my body will be shaking like a leaf. I have phobia for cats now.
