Conclusion - Sex Education Should Be Taught In Schools

In all, Sex Education, most definetly should be taught in schools. Surveys have shown that a resounding majority of the students themselves prefer to learn about sex in school compared to homes. The knowledge gained would definetly not go to waste in their future years. If they desire to learn it in school, then let them do so.

Thank You.

sex education speech

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. I come before you today to address an important matter. Have you noticed the number of teens having abortions and premartial sex has increased? I am very sure, as adults who care about their children, all of us present here are worried about this shocking turn of events. The government's answer to this is a controversional one: implementing a subject called "sex education" into the school syllabus. While many people are against this, I stand here today to tell you, ladies and gentlemen, why this scheme should be approved.

Sex education has to be taught so that teenagers will know exactly what sex is and will not be cheated to have sex without knowing what they are getting themselves into. The whole point to sex education in the schools is to provide students with accurate information and arm them with enough knowledge to make wise, healthy decisions and the different types of contraception, including abstinence so that they will have the knowledge necessary to make an informed decision concerning when they become sexually active. Many young girls who get pregnant at such a young age will die as their bodies cannot support a live baby. We must therefore maintain comprehensive sex education standards in our public schools. By doing so, we provide our future leaders with all the proper tools to make safe decisions in their lives. Without the correct information, incorrect and blatantly misleading information will cause our youths to be doomed to fall further behind the rest of the developed world in this crucial stage of their lives.

What is sexually transmitted disease? Sexually transmitted disease is an infection that has symptoms, commonly known as STD. Unfortunately STDs have become common among teens, partly because teens are becoming sexually at a younger age and are having multiple sex partners. So it is very important to learn what we can do to protect ourselves. STDs are more than just an embarrassment. They are a very serious health problem. If untreated, some STDs can leave permanent damage, such as infertility and even death. Each year there are about 19 million new STD cases in the USA, and about one-half of these are among young people between 15 and 24 years old. Allow me to say that it is necessary for teenagers to be educated about sex in schools. Only by this way, the teenagers will not have sex at such a young age and be protected from getting STDs.

Creating awareness in teenagers is the best time to stop these negative effects from happening. Parents, too, need to play an important role for their children to make them know what is sex and the negative effect of premarital sex. Sex education in schools will help teenagers to understand more on the negative effects and why they should not do it at such a young age. Therefore, not only teenagers need to know what's going on, parents and teachers should also help these teenagers in understanding more about sex. They should educate them, and make them not do premarital sex.

the three paragraphs.. [[ doing on grp 5 ]]

Firstly, unborn babies are the most innocent creatures in the world. Furthermore, when these parents abort them, they will lose the only chance to experience the way of life. They are not able to see the beautiful and colourful world. Yet, why harm these innocent children? Is these being fair? Don't they have their own rights to life their life? Have these parents who chose abortion spared a thought for them? This is one point why abortion is to be made illegal.

Secondly, abortion should be made illegal as it has negative side effects for the mother. The mother may die due to losing too much blood and the unbearable pain that they undergo when aborting the child. The whole process will leave a very deep scar in the mother's heart. Not only that, she may suffer from depression andeven commit suicide because of the guilt she had when abortiong the baby. The mother may also not be able to conceive in future.

Sometimes, women who have gone through abortions before might no longer be able to concieve. Punctures in the uterus from a previous abortion might cause infertility. Even if the couple yearn for a child of thier own, they have no way to get one. No one deserves the torture of knowing that they cannot hold their own flesh and blood.

Body - Physical Effects

It is well known that abortions can have many unwanted side effects. One of the many drastic effects of an abortion is that the process might actually damage the uterus. This can either render the female infertile or due to the puncture, cause blood loss that might lead to death.
The wound could also cause defects in future pregnancies. The infant might be born a still-born, be born prematurely or might be born with defects like extra fingers.

guilt.

For most woman, undergoing abortion is a painful thing. The thought of having abortion usually scares them. Under unpredictable circumstances, abortion, is a must. Most woman usually feel relief after having abortion. Some people feel angry, guilty, or even regret after having abortion. Sudden hormonal changes may intensify these feelings. Long time depression after abortion may cause serious emotional problems such as depression. Some even wants to end their lives by taking drugs or commit suicide. People, why must women suffer so much? Why are they the ones who suffer? Why can't the men suffer those problems women are experiencing? The extreme pain after the abortion. The guilt after killing those innocent lives of the unborn. The anger, the depression. Women shall suffer no more. Let abortion be illegal!

Consequences...

Abortion is not just a simple medical procedure. For many women, it is a life changing event with significant physical and emotional consequences. Clinical research provides a growing body of scientific evidence that having an abortion can cause psychological harm to some women. More than 200 women have died from legal abortions since 1973. Complications such as these are common, as are bleeding, hemorrhage, laceration of the cervix, menstrual disturbance, inflammation of the reproductive organs, bladder or bowel perforation, and serious infection. Even more harmful long term physical complications from abortion may surface later. For example, overzealous curettage can damage the lining of the uterus and lead to permanent infertility.

Casual sex

One of the reasons abortion has to be made illegal, ladies and gentlemen, is the harm it does to the future of our nation. "But how?" you ask. The answer is really very simple- it corrupts our younger generation by encouraging them to engage in casual intercourse, and tells them that, if they accidentally create new life, it is alright to kill it off heartlessly in order to escape all the burdens that come with it. We have all noticed, ladies and gentlemen, that the rates of youngsters having abortions or sex at young ages have rose up, bringing to my attention how serious this problem has become.
Ladies and gentlemen, surely you would not like to see the once-glorious future of our children, the pillars of our future nation, in tatters? This problem has to be stopped, for your future, for theirs, for the entire nation's.Thank you.

my version of extract. ( weiting 2F )

Angel and I were roaming aimlessly around the funfair when she spotted a haunted house.

“Let's go inside, Jennifer! It looks like fun!" Angle exclaimed.

"H...H...aunted h...h...ouse? It looks scary," I stammered.

"Are you scared? If you are, you could stand outside and wait for me," she replied.

"Scared? Are you kidding? Of course I'm not!" I said. But deep down my heart, I was shaking like a leaf.

As we entered the haunted house, it was all dark. I couldn't even see my fingers! I had to grope around the place so that I could find my way out. Suddenly, I thought of Angel. I had totally forgotten about her. I grapped a hand which was near me and told her to stay near me.

Suddenly, as we were walking, I accidently hit my leg against something. Something which was hard. "Ouch!" I cried. I felt a stinging pain on my left foot. I hobbled around and called Angel to help me out of the haunted house.

When we got out of the haunted house, I saw Angel waiting outside me. "Why did you take such a long time to find your way out of the haunted house?" she said. Feeling that something is wrong, I looked at whoose hands I was grabbing. It was one of the "ghosts"! I was so embarassed that my face turned red immediately. When the "ghost" went back to the haunted house, I slinked away from Angel, who was laughing hysterically.

abortion. ( grp 5 )

Good evening ladies and gentlemen, distinguished guests and fellow speakers. Murder. Killings. Are these the words music to your ears? Yet, every one hour, at least one life is lost. One young, innocent life. One which has yet to see the beautiful world. Ladies and gentlemen, allow me now, to speak to you, about abortions and why, they should not be legalised.
